I (Jake) grew up on a Missouri Century Farm in Southeast Polk County on a beef farm. I spent my younger years spending time with my father (David Agee) on the farm helping and learning in every aspect I could. I leased my first property at 15 years old and began my farming career adding row crops and hogs to the farm. Even at a young age, I continued to try and find ways to grow the farm.

I started Agee Ag, LLC in 2016, as an independent sales agency for Pioneer Seeds. I obtained my Agronomy certification through Pioneer and the University of Iowa in 2017. I continued to follow my passion; I pushed forward on the family farm, adding more acreage and cattle and we were able to grow our business on the side. I wanted to extend my hand in every area I could that involved farming. I also added custom spraying in 2022. 

Tamra and I knew we wanted to instill the same values in our children. It has always been important that our children understand and know the value of farm life. Today, my son (Chris Agee) farms alongside me and is an employee at Agee Ag, LLC. I am proud of what we have accomplished over the last several years. I am excited to get to not only farm but be a good steward for other farmers in making the correct choices for their farming operations.
